BourneOut and LGBT History Month

A "Literary Event" in Eastbourne Library

In February of this year three events are taking place in East Sussex to mark LGBT History Month. BourneOut, Eastbourne's forum for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual andTrans Community is organising one of these. We have been invited by the Library Service to repeat our "Literary Event" which was held in October last year as part of the celebrations for UK Older People's Day in East Sussex.

The evening will again primarily be a social occasion but we are asking for volunteers to read out a poem or piece of prose that they enjoy. We aim to keep the event light-hearted and humorous. It is open for everyone to attend, you do not have to read anything out just turn up and enjoy being in the audience.
