Desperate to escape their unhappy fates, young lovers Demetrius, Lysander, Helena and Hermia flee their village in the heart of England for the moonlit woods.

There – along with a band of amateur actors/musicians – they fall under the spell of mischievous Puck and their punky apprentice Cobweb,

tumbling into a dream world where illusion and reality are hilariously confused.

A gender bending, 70s spin on the classic tale. This production is not to be missed!

We have received a request from a MSc Social Science Research Student at Loughborough University

Looking for LGBTQ+ and women identifying migrants living outside of a major ‘urban hub’ (eg. London, Brighton, Manchester) to take part in an interview discussing migration journey and community building.

This project has ethical approval from Loughborough University. 

Findings from this research will be valuable insight into the experiences of a marginalised group (LGBTQ+ migrant women), also shifting focus away from large cities and towards the needs of queer people in different areas in the UK.

Ariane Lee, is a researcher at the University of Sussex and Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust.

They are looking for individuals who may be interested in taking part in a research study they are conducting.

This research is part of the DETERMIND project.

This is the largest national research program currently running designed to explore the lived experiences of people with dementia and their carers,

with the aim of reducing inequalities and improving access to care services.

They have recently received further funding from the NIHR to enable them to create the largest research group of LGBTQIA+ people with dementia in the world,

aiming to better understand their experiences of dementia care.

 LGBTQIA+ people are often under-represented in dementia research.

By taking part, individuals will have an opportunity to help ensure that future dementia services are more inclusive,

accessible, and responsive to diverse communities.

This winter, we need your help to fund essential LGBTQ+ mental health services and ensure our vital programs continue into Spring 2026.

Your contribution isn’t just money - it’s a lifeline! Together, we can make sure no one is left behind!

 Details of the community play have now been confirmed and the production of 'Eastbourne Soup'

will take place on 4th, 5th and 6th of June at the Winter Garden.
