Towner Art Gallery and LGBT History Month

Screening of 'The Wizard of Oz' plus Introduction

Sunday 9th February at 2.00pm 

 

To celebrate LGBT+ History Month 2020 the Towner together with Eastbourne Rainbow are screening 'The Wizard of Oz' with an introduction by Dr Niall Richardson from Sussex University. Niall will be discussing how over the years this film has come to have significance for the LGBTQ+ community and how Judy Garland has become a gay icon.
