The Treatment of LGBT People Within Health and Social Care Services

Stonewall commissioned YouGov to carry out a survey looking into LGBT issues in health and social care settings. A sample of 3001 health and social care staff were asked about their experiences of issues relating to LGBT healthcare and employment.

Stonewall argues that the report highlights some major gaps in the knowledge and training of staff relating to LGBT people, which is resulting in unfair treatment of both LGBT patients and staff.
