Notice of Public Consultation on Proposed Savings to the Adult Social Care Budget

East Sussex County Council will have £40 million less to spend on adult social care services by 2019. This is in addition to the £28 million that has already been saved since 2013.

Many people who use adult social care services will be affected by the savings needed to be made. The council want your views on how they are proposing to make savings. There is a public consultation running until Friday the 18th December, full information and an online survey can be found at:

There are a series of consultation drop-in events taking place in East Sussex, the Eastbourne one is on the 13th November at the Town Hall, Court Room, Grove Road

from 11am to 1pm. You can complete the survey there and give your views.
